Dr. Damon Hays, DPM
A native St. Louisian, Dr. Hays attended Lafayette High School before attending Truman State University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. Following this, Dr. Hays attended the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, where he received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree.
Following medical school, Dr. Hays completed a three-year surgical residency with the Houston Podiatric Residency Program in Houston, Texas, where he trained under the guidance of some of the country’s leading podiatric specialists. This led him to become involved in several volunteer programs that have remained near and dear to his heart. These included providing free medical services to Houston’s homeless population, working with needy children at the El Nino Medical Clinic, and providing support and emergency podiatric services to the Houston Marathon. Perhaps because of these experiences, Dr. Hays has a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of sports medicine, and in charity medical care.
Dr. Hays maintains staff privileges at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital, DePaul Hospital, and Missouri Baptist Hospital, as well as several outpatient surgery centers.
